FUN APRIL CELEBRATIONS
April 1 – April Fool’s Day
Traditionally, April Fool’s Day is an opportunity for playing jokes or tricks on one another. The challenge is to carry out a trick that is believable, if only for a little while.
Note: Jokes and gags should not be dangerous or hurt anyone’s feelings.
April 7 – No Housework Day
April 7 is your chance to do anything, except housework. Better still, have someone else do the chores for a day.
April 9 – Easter Sunday – date varies
For Christians, Easter is a time to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Others celebrate Easter with the Easter Bunny, colored eggs, egg hunts, jelly beans, and candy. Easter Lilies are a popular symbol for this holiday. Be careful with these plants as they can be deadly for some pets.
