The worst thing you can do is have a Facebook page that is nothing but sales posts as these almost always never get shared. Think about how many times you have shared someone else’s ad. Not much if at all, right? However, if you start adding value to your post then you will start creating Facebook posts your followers will share. This can help you reach more people for FREE which will get you more followers.
How Do You Create Shareable Facebook Posts?
The first thing you need to know is who your audience is. It is very hard to provide anyone with valuable content if you don’t know who you are talking to.
Once you know who you are talking to, then the next thing you need to know is what types of problems do your audience face? What keeps them up at night? What do they wish was different? How can you help them with these things?
After you have this information you can start creating Facebook posts your followers will find value in. I call this “posting with a purpose.” A post with purpose can provide immense value to your followers making it extremely shareable.
Creating Facebook Posts Your Followers Will Share
Here are a few examples of posts that can provide value for your customers:
#1 Tips. This can be anything that makes sense for your brand. For example, if you sell makeup, the tips should be makeup related.
#2 Tutorials. This is where you walk your followers through how to do something. A good example of this might be a post on how to do an at-home work-out if you are in the fitness niche.
#3 Post How-to Guides. Educational how-to posts do well on Facebook. Therefore, a how-to guide is an excellent way to explain to your following how to get a result they want. So, if you are in fashion you could create a how-to guide on getting the most out of your wardrobe.
If you ever feel stuck and don’t know what to post, the best way to figure out what kind of content your fans want to hear about, then just ask them. You can do this by asking a question or posting a poll. So, if you are in skincare you might ask them what their biggest skincare concern is and then create content around that.
When it comes to creating content for Facebook you have the option to create a standard post or use live/prerecorded video for even more engagement. The Facebook algorithm favors live video over posts so, if you feel comfortable on camera, then you can use these tips to create videos as well.
Now that you know how to create shareable posts for your Facebook page, do your research and start providing valuable content today.
