Let’s face it sometimes life sucks. Things happen that you weren’t expecting and during those times it is very easy to get sidetracked from your goals. So how do you overcome these obstacles and still achieve your goals? In order to find out, I went to someone who has lived through one of the hardest years of her life and still managed to stay on track.

Molly’s Tips for Overcoming Life’s Obstacles To Achieve Your Goals
#1 Start by getting clear on your goals.
#2 Make sure your goals are written down and you keep them in your face where you can see them every day.
#3 You have to really want whatever your goal is and be willing to do anything to get it.
#4 Sometimes you are going to have to give up things in order to stay on course and hit your goals.
What Do You Do When Life Starts To Suck?
#5 Focus on what you can change because focusing on the things you can’t only drags you down.
#6 Allow yourself to be angry but don’t stay in that place.
#7 Block out the negativity and that may mean having to cut things out of your life that are holding you back.
#8 Find an outlet where you can express yourself.
#9 Try to laugh at life when possible.
Avoid These Pitfalls
#10 Have a strong belief in your friendships. This will help you when you may not have as much time to nurture them as much as you used to.
#11 Don’t focus on the fact that you are not where you want to be but instead celebrate the fact that you are closer to where you want to be than you were before.
#12 Beware of the complacency factor. You can’t get halfway to your goals and get complacent… stay hungry.
